Who is responsible for your information

Information collected

When you submit a quote request, Samson Handyman may collect your name, phone number, email address, area, service interest, job details, uploaded photographs and any other information you choose to include.

How information is used

Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes, arrange and complete work, keep appropriate business records, prevent misuse and, where you consent, understand which advertising or website pages led to enquiries.

Cookies, consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads

The site uses essential browser storage to remember your privacy choice. With your permission, Google Analytics helps us understand website visits, traffic sources, pages viewed, confirmed quote submissions and contact clicks. Google Ads may use cookies and process device, page, ad-click and interaction information to measure advertising results and improve or personalise advertising. Your name, phone number, email address, job description and uploaded photos are not sent to Google Analytics by our enquiry tracking.

Google Consent Mode is set to deny advertising, user-data, personalisation and analytics storage until you make a choice. Google Analytics is first enabled only after you consent to measurement. If you reject non-essential use or withdraw consent, loaded Google tags operate with restricted consent signals and the site does not store Google ad-click identifiers in browser storage. If you consent to measurement, identifiers such as GCLID, GBRAID or WBRAID may be stored and submitted with an enquiry to help measure advertising results. Campaign tags (UTM parameters), the landing-page path and the referring website hostname may also be kept for the browser session, for up to 24 hours, and included with your enquiry. Full referring URLs are not stored by this enquiry-source feature. Withdrawing measurement consent clears this session information and excludes it from future enquiries.

Changing or withdrawing consent

You can accept, reject or manage non-essential data uses in the privacy banner. After making a choice, use the Privacy choices button at the bottom of any page to change or withdraw it. Withdrawing consent is as easy as granting it and affects future processing.

Sharing and processors

Information may be processed by services used to operate the business, including email, Cloudflare website hosting, FormSubmit form handling, Google Analytics, Google Ads and related measurement services. Information is shared only as needed for these purposes or where required by law. Your enquiry details are not sold.

Lawful bases and retention

Enquiry information is generally processed to take steps at your request before providing a service, to perform an agreed service, and for legitimate business administration. Non-essential cookies, advertising measurement and personalisation are based on your consent. Records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for enquiries, services, legal obligations and business records.

Your data rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent at any time. Email samsonashandyman@gmail.com to make a request.
